The Anatomic Pathology Laboratory provides essential diagnostic services that support accurate clinical decision-making and veterinary education. Biopsy reports supply critical in-vivo information to guide treatment strategies, while necropsy reports offer detailed postmortem findings to explain underlying disease processes and causes of death.
Located in the Postmortem Building of the Veterinary Complex, the facility is equipped to handle companion animals, farm animals, and poultry. Services are dedicated to supporting the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the training of veterinary students, while also processing specimens from regional veterinary practices. In addition to diagnostic testing, the laboratory provides cremation and disposal services.
